What happens to my pet's remains if I do not use the services of the Pet Bye crematorium?
After euthanasia, the veterinarian is obliged to hand over the remains of your pet to the rendering plant. There, they are thermally processed together with other animals, remains from slaughterhouses, food waste. The processing itself produces products such as bone meal or fat, which are further used in various industries.
How can I be sure that the ashes returned to me will be exclusively from my pet?
Individual cremations are carried out exclusively one at a time, in compliance with the strict procedure of monitoring and documenting the remains. The procedures we use and systems for labeling remains are taken from the largest international association of pet crematoria. Checks of the markings with which the remains of your pet are marked are performed 4 times during the entire process.
What is the difference between individual and group cremation?
With individual cremation, only one pet is cremated separately, and in that case it is possible to return the ashes to the owner, if he wishes. In group cremation, a couple of pets are cremated at the same time, but still with special care and dignity. In this case, we are unable to separately separate and return your pet's ashes to you.
How long does cremation take, i.e. when can I receive my pet's ashes?
The cremation process itself depends on the size of the animal, and takes about an hour on average. For pet owners from the wider area of Belgrade, the time from picking up the pet's remains to handing over the urn with ashes is about 1 to 4 days. For other parts of Serbia, that period can be up to 7 days.
What should I do if my pet dies during the night or during the weekend?
