A dignified farewell to a pet

What to do and who to contact when...

What clients should do after the death of a pet

One of the most difficult moments that pet owners face is when, after many years of companionship and friendship, their pet dies. A man's last farewell from his best friend is sadder than one can imagine. This is saying goodbye to a pet that has lived with you and your family for years and is just as sad as saying goodbye to someone very close to you. Parting with them is very painful, but in addition to emotional problems, owners throughout Serbia are also faced with an environmental and administrative problem that represents a big challenge for everyone.

What to do and who to call when pets die and how to safely dispose of your pet's body?

There is still no pet cemetery in Serbia. The construction plan dates back to 1996, but it has not yet been implemented. Practice has shown that many owners, in the absence of information, bury their pets in the yard, in parks or in the surrounding forests on the outskirts of the city. Self-initiated burial of dead pets can endanger the public health of people and animals, because the spread of waste through underground water can cause various infections, and burying corpses is contrary to veterinary and sanitary rules.

If the pet died in your home or in the veterinarian's clinic, upon your call, our officers will ensure that the remains are collected and transported to our crematorium as soon as possible. Whether it's a weekend or a holiday, we are at your service 24 hours a day and collection on the territory of the whole of Serbia is carried out on the same day, and in the narrower area of Belgrade we are at your address in less than 2 hours.

We know how much pets have played a unique role in your family during their lifetime, and that is why, in compliance with all procedures prescribed by state authorities, we offer you the option of choosing individual or group cremation services.

By service individual cremation, your pet will be cremated separately with special care and attention from our side. After cremation, your pet's ashes will be delivered in a black satin bag or in an urn of your choice from our urn galleries. Urns are delivered throughout Serbia within 2 to 4 days from the day your pet's remains are picked up.

Group cremation it is carried out with respect for all measures together with 2 to 3 other pets. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver ashes to you as part of this service.
The cremation process depends on the size of the animal, and the duration is about an hour on average.

Pet owners in our country deserve to send their pet off with dignity and empathy in the most difficult moments. We have witnessed that until recently there was no legal possibility to cremate a pet, and the transfer of mortal remains to a country in the region was not legally regulated.

Pet Bye is a company that deals with cremation and providing services for a humane and dignified parting with your pet - we are at your service 24/7 to make that moment easier for you.

Because they deserve it.
